About Me

Hi and welcome to your e-Lifestyle Mini Guide.

I'm Debbie Turner and I live in the beautiful horse country of Kentucky.  I have  also lived in oceanfront communities as well as the desert and I love it all.

The best thing about Kentucky is I am able to enjoy true "four seasons".  The springs and falls are perfect and seem to last a little while, summers aren't too hot and winters don't have months of blizzards.

Oh, the joys of not having to punch a clock and only setting the morning alarm if I have a plane to catch!  I've been enjoying the freedom that a true e-lifestyle can provide since 2007.

If this is something YOU desire, then I wish for it for you as well and it's certainly within your reach!

If you're anything like me, you appreciate knowing who's behind a website and having a bit more information about that person other than a face, name and email.

So, I thought if I created this page, it would allow you to get to know me and my family and our quirkiness (is that a word?) in hopes that we can connect on a more personal level.

==================================================

So here's a little bit about me if you care to know…….

==================================================

Raised to be a homemaker and then "real world reality"

I was raised in a home where I learned to cook, sew, clean and take care of children.  At no time was college or a job EVER discussed.  Old school I know, but I was raised to  be a homemaker. I never went to college.

In the real world however, I did pursue a career as a legal secretary.  After several years I  was not enjoying the time freedom  I wanted and was capped out at the top of my pay scale.  I wanted to find something where I could control more of my time and income capabilities so I  obtained my real estate license.

My first year in real estate brought me a 6 figure income and I was off and running until 2007, when the economy handed me a pink slipRefusing to punch a clock, I went searching online for replacement income which lead me to my online e-lifestyle.

Making lemonade from lemons

Being terribly gullible, my first attempt with an online business set me back $35K.  I took the mistakes I'd made and started over with the right knowledge and have gone on to create a full time e-lifestyle. I came into online marketing with no special skills or talent but a super-sized desire to succeed and figure it out.

Being a self-starter, highly motivated and not afraid of hard work, I've been able to enjoy the e-lifestyle I have today. I brought the same high level of commitment to accomplishment to my online business that I had in my legal and real estate careers.  I got out there and learned what  I needed to learn, attended events and seminars, and implemented marketing that brings business to me.  I didn't have any hand-holding or baby-sitting, but rather had to figure it out on my own.  So I understand the value of hard work for rewards.

I maintain an e-lifestyle through network marketing and affiliate marketing and am in the process of developing a line of products of my own.

Passions and Family

I can't begin to tell you how passionate I am about living a life outside of bosses telling me what to do and what kind of life I will be able to enjoy while holding security over my head for 40+ years and I want to share this lifestyle with as many people as I can.

Special Needs, Special Challenges, Special Love

Like many families, we have challenges that make us appreciate life and each other, never taking a day for granted.

My parents adopted my sister, Regina, who has aspergers (autism). She came into our lives when she was 7 years old and absolutely captured our hearts.

We are so blessed!

My brother, Troy, suffers from diabetes, is blind and is a stoke victim. To know Troy, you'd think he doesn't have a care in the world. He's truly a remarkable man and I'm proud to call him my Bro.

For Shear Fun and Hobby:  I spend quite a bit of my lifestyle time in my hobby industry which is scrapbooking and preserving family memories.  Doing so has allowed me opportunities to have my design work published in books, on product packaging for Target Stores and in-store displays and billboards like Michael's Crafts.  My work has been featured on QVC, I've made guest appearances on TV and love teaching classes at scrapbooking retreats, conventions, and stores.  There's no money in this… just pure fun… because I can.

I also have a heart for foster children.  I loved serving as a foster parent for 15 years which resulted in the adoption of my daughter.  I  helped advocate for foster children in KY to have a scrapbook of their own and it's now law.  It's such a beautiful gift to give to these children when they have seen such brokenness in their lives, not knowing really who they are or where they belong.  These books tie it together for them.  They can see how wonderful and special they are… and they are very much loved.

I authored a book and live hands-on training for social workers and foster parents.  What a joy for me to have time to give back and contribute to the community in this way.

Other Fun Stuff I Love:   camp, hike, roast marshmallows in the snow, scuba dive, travel and and while I've only been hot air ballooning once, I can't wait to go again!

<<< Boy we look like a motley crew!  My 2 grown sons were having a contest to see which one can grow the longest beard over a 2 month period… but promised to shave it for Christmas pictures… we are a "goofy" fun family!  (Smokey Mountains)

We are all entrepreneurs so it's a breeze to get together at the last minute.  This was a perfect example.  My daughter attends Johnson Bible College and she was missing the family.  So we all met up in the Smokey Mountains for her 4 day weekend and just spent time together.

My daughter, Ashley, missed the "taste" of home so we cooked her favorite family recipes.  We played Banagrams, cards, chess, and spent many hours around the pool table.   We hiked a great trail and stopped in Gatlinburg for ice cream and coffee.

What a fabulous time of making memories, staying connected with family and being able to up and go on a whim.  Just grabbed my laptop and off I went.

So you can see, I'm just an ordinary gal with an ordinary family who loves life, has a passion to pursue hobbies and interests and doesn't want to be tied to a job or income caps.

So if I can rise up to the challenge and experiences that creates an e-lifestyle, I think anyone can!

Who I'm looking to connect and partner with:

I'm looking to connect with other entrepreneur minded individuals who bring strong desire and commitment to the table; those who are resourceful, self-starters and appreciate the 'give and take' partnership where real business relationships are forged and rather than being quick to blame and make excuses (problem oriented), they are forward thinkers, problem solvers and take full responsibility for their choices and success.  There is NO other way to be successful.

If this is you, I invite you to connect with me at Facebook if you haven't already.

No application required

While you will see many marketers out there asking you to complete applications to work with them, I'm sure you're adult enough to determine whether you're qualified by you looking in the mirror as you go through action steps 1-5.  You know yourself better than anyone.  If you have what it takes, let's do it.

If you're  not sure you're up for the work and commitment and a procrastinator by habit, then we're not a match.

I'm looking for confident, ready to start now, no excuses,  kind of professionals.

I wish you will in your business and in life. Make it count, you only get one chance.
